DON'T wait until the last minute to upload or send your grant! Please remember also that you've got to tell a story, and leave your proposal as free of jargon and buzzwords as possible. It's nice that you know the words "interlocutor" and "impactful." But try just speaking in plain English. Program officers cannot be subject matter experts in every field that throws them a grant.
